How to change your cPanel hosting password

A password that is not secure can compromise confidentiality of your data. With data stored virtually, an account could be susceptible to hacking if you choose a weak password. Additionally, if you haven’t change the password in a long time, this is vulnerable to cyber attacks. In case your password is not a strong one and hasn’t been changed for a long time, consider changing it now.

Even if you can access your cPanel through the account manager, it is still important to secure your cPanel password to prevent unauthorized access. These unauthorized accesses can be done via FTP or the direct link to cPanel.

IMPORTANT. The steps herein require your Crazy Domains account manager access.

  1. Access your cPanel via account manager.
